Factory International & Manchester City Council
Manchester has a new Arts and Culture Venue being built in the city centre that is set to deliver some of the world's leading artists from the worlds of music, theatre and many more. The new 13,300 sqm venue is an architectural marvel which will showcase established and new artists in new and innovative ways using the sprawling spaces which internally comprise a social area with a bar, seating and opportunities for artistic expression. The Warehouse can deliver music concerts, artistic displays, commercial hire opportunities and house up to 5000 people. Finally, the Hall which is the technologically advanced theatre space which can seat up to 1800 and also be configured in multiple ways including opening up to the warehouse for combined events.
Weem Group worked from the outset of commercializing this space as well as setting the processes for taking this property to market and in the end securing a 10-year partner at the asking price, with a huge commitment to community and sustainability projects for Factory International.
This partnership will forge the alliance of both community and artistic representation for many years to come and will allow the Manchester community to interact and benefit from the initiatives being developed.
